| South Allington House is a working farm set in beautiful grounds in a quiet hamlet between Start Point and Prawle Point in the South Hams. If you want peace and quiet this is just the place for you. The area offers facilities for all the usual holiday activities - it is ideally situated for beach and wonderfully scenic coastal walks, and provides the opportunity to view birds and animals in their natural habitat. The picturesque town of Salcombe is nearby for sailing, fishing and water sports, and Thurlestone is famous for its golf course. The market town of Kingsbridge is seven miles away, and can provide plenty of entertainment, from a sports centre and swimming pool to tennis courts and a museum. The historical town of Dartmouth is within easy travelling distance, and is abundant in naval history, as well as offering spectacular river trips up the River Dart to Totnes. |

| Bed and Breakfast Nine rooms are available in the house (five en suite, two four poster beds with en suite, and two with private facilities). All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, colour television and hairdryer. A clothes iron and shoe cleaning materials are available on request. There is a visitors' television lounge and pay phone for your convenience. Guests are free to use the grounds during the day, and we can provide tennis court, croquet and coarse fishing for your entertainment. |
| The Laurels The Laurels is the East Wing of the house and has been designed and furnished to sleep four people whilst giving home comforts in relaxing surroundings. It is completed to a high standard with kitchen complete with fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher and microwave, lounge/dining room with colour television and video, and bathroom (bath and shower over) with towels provided. All rooms are centrally heated and electricity is inclusive of the price. |  |
The Coach House and Coachman's Lodge are both in the beautiful grounds of South Allington House, which is a working farm in a quiet hamlet between Start Point and Prawle Point in the South Hams. There is ample parking provided and Devon cream teas are available in the summer. If you want peace and quiet then this is just the place for you. The Coach House The Coach House which is tastefully modernised to a high standard, sleeps seven in two en suite bedrooms (the double with bunk beds has bath with shower over, and the double room with single bed has a shower room), with ample wardrobe and drawer space, and hairdryers supplied. The kitchen and dining room are equipped with dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer, the lounge contains a colour television and video. There is also a utility room with washer/dryer for your convenience. Central heating and electricity are inclusive. Bed, linen and towels are provided. The rear garden contains garden furniture on the patio, a barbecue for those summer evenings and attractive views across the grounds of South Allington House. Coachman's Lodge The Coachman's Lodge, which is furnished to the same high standard, sleeps six in three bedrooms - a double room with en suite shower room, one room with twin beds and one with bunkbeds, both sharing a bathroom comprising a bath with shower over. All bedrooms have hairdryers supplied, and plenty of storage space. The kitchen and dining room are equipped with dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer, and the lounge contains a colour television and video. An extra toilet is provided downstairs for convenience. Central heating and electricity are inclusive. Bed, linen and towels are provided. |
| Turn off the A38 for Buckfastleigh, Totnes and Kingsbridge, and follow signs for Kingsbridge. In Kingsbridge take the main Dartmouth Road. Having passed through Frogmore take the right hand turn over the bridge signposted East Prawle. Follow signs for East Prawle as far as Chivelstone Cross, turn left and we are ½ mile on the right. |

| The Laurels Bookings run from Friday to Friday (arrival 3.pm and departure 10 am). Out of season short breaks must be three days minimum. The deposit required is one quarter of the total rent, and the balance is payable one month prior to your holiday commencement date. Tenants are requested to leave the premises as they found them, clean and tidy, then all the returnable deposit will be refunded (£75 made out on a separate cheque). Please make all cheques payable to B.J. + N.J. Baker. Please note that there are non-smoking residences and pets are not permitted. |
