About us
Selwood Lodge is a family run Licensed Guest House, recently refurbished,located a short walk to the north of Bognor Regis town centre and is open all year round.
It has been under the successful management of the proprietors, Doreen & Albert Bodle, for the past 30 years and you can be assured of a warm welcome awaiting you when you visit.
All rooms are located on the first floor and offer en-suite bath or shower, tea / coffee making facilities, TV, hair driers, irons and ironing boards. Towels are provided and there is ample and unrestricted street parking. The driveway is also available for off street parking.
Breakfast, consisting of a choice of cereals, coffee or tea, toast and of course, a 'Full English Breakfast', is included and served between 8-30 & 9-30 (earlier by special request) in our comfortable dining room.
All rooms are non-smoking. We have a licensed lounge bar where guests are welcome to purchase drinks. Situated downstairs you will also find our games room where you can play pool and darts. Guests are also welcome to use the garden area where smoking is permitted and where there is a Gazebo to keep off the elements.

 | Our Location
It is only a few minutes walk to the town centre and seafront where you will find many shops, regular markets, cafés, restaurants, live theatre, cinema, nightclubs and of course, many traditional english pubs. Bognor also hosts various events including the International Birdman Rally. There are good public transport connections including a frequent bus service running from Brighton to Portsmouth & Southsea via Bognor Regis. The train station is located on the northern edge of the town and offers a frequent service to towns along the coast and to London.
A short bus or car ride away you will find South Coast World, otherwise known as Butlin's, where there is plenty of entertainment for the whole family and regular themed weekends.
Nearby historic Chichester, easily reached by car, bus or train, is a roman city with examples of the old city walls still remaining. There are many fine shops and restaurants with the Cathedral towering over the town. Chichester also boasts the well known Festival Theatre offering a variety of performances, frequently by international artists.
Another nearby town well worth a visit is Arundel with a charm from a different age. Arundel Castle, the ancestral home of The Duke of Norfolk attracts many visitors and the magnificent Roman Catholic Cathedral dominates the town from it's high elevation.

Tariff and Terms
Children under 15 years are charged at half price when sharing with adults.

It should be noted that prices are dependant on annual events throughout the year.
Bookings can be taken by telephone, email or in person. Credit card details are requested to secure bookings, alternatively a cash or cheque deposit may be paid in advance.
Deposit amount is equal to the first night's stay.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to stay (12.00 noon) will be charged for the first night's stay.
Cancellations must be made by telephone.
Rooms are available from 12.00 noon and must be vacated by 10.30 on the morning of departure.
We ask that accounts are settled on arrival.
We are unable to accommodate pets.
