Located in the picturesque village of Hope Bowlder, near Church Stretton in Shropshire, Sayang House stands in an acre of landscaped gardens with fine views of the surrounding countryside.

We have 15 years experience in the B&B business.
We have three bedrooms, all of which are en-suite and furnished to a high standard. We also offer Self Catering facilites.
Evening meals can be provided with all diets catered for and of course we provide a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day.

The town of Church Stretton, gateway to wonderful walking country including the Long Mynd and South Shropshire Hills, is just two miles away.
The beautiful historic market towns of Ludlow, Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury are within easy reach and the world famous Ironbridge Gorge Museums are about 20 miles to the north.

Sayang House is a modern house built in the character of the old village homesteads of Hope Bowdler.
The name "Sayang" was given to the property by the previous owners who spent a wonderful holiday at the Rasa Sayang Hotel on Penang.
They later learned that 'sayang' is the Malay word for love.
Facilities
The lounge and dining area feature oak beams and an inglenook fireplace. The lounge is at the disposal of our guests at all times.
All three bedrooms are en-suite, furnished to a high standard with shaving points, hair dryers, flat-screen TV, local spring water, tea making facilities and toiletries.
Wireless Internet access, Separate kitchen available for our guests with a greater selection of teas and coffee. Fridge with fresh milk.
Accommodation at Sayang House is inclusive of a full English or Continental breakfast and evening meals can be provided and all diets catered for.
There is ample parking space and a drying room for boots and clothes.

Hope Bowdler
This is a small village with an interesting history situated among the South Shropshire Hills. There is wonderful walking on the Hope Bowdler Hills along footpaths you can follow in complete tranquillity. A favourite walk is to the village of Cardington with its 15th Century Inn where you can stop for real ale and home cooked food using local recipes.
Church Stretton
The market town of Church Stretton nestles in the heart of South Shropshire Hills. A good shopping place with a variety of small shops, café and pubs. From here it is possible to walk up onto the Long Mynd or meander up the Carding Mill Valley. A huge variety of long or short walks, with the chance to see lots of wildlife, start from here.
