| Ruana House is situated in a rural location just off the A337 approx 2 miles from Lymington. The coast at Milford on Sea is within walking distance at 1.5 miles. Beaulieu with the exceptional National Motor Museum is a picturesque 15 mins drive. It is 40 mins by car to Southampton or Bournemouth and the beautiful and historic cities of Winchester and Salisbury are close too. Welcome Please let me tell you about Ruana House, for over 20 years we have been looking after visitors in our own unique style. Guests have self contained accommodation in the chalet which offers greater freedom and privacy than a standard 'in home' B&B. The setting is rural, with chickens, ducks, geese, pygmy goats and kune kune pigs all living here. Wake up to birdsong in clean country air. |

| The chalet has gas central heating and is double glazed so it is warm and comfortable at any time of the year. There are three rooms, one has twin beds and there is a double and a large double available. The twin and standard double interconnect to form a superb unit perfect for families with children but equally great for a group of friends to share. The twin and standard double room, all rooms have access to a full size refrigerator so you can bring your own wine, beer, snacks etc. Complementary tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Ruana House is also different when it comes to breakfast. Only top quality ingredients are selected. Our continental buffet breakfast is a real favourite with an extensive choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, ham, cheese, boiled eggs (fresh and home produced) orange juice, toast, bread rolls etc. Full English or other variety of cooked breakfast is prepared with equal care at additional cost. All delivered to your room at an agreed time or when the weather is good etc 'al fresco' in the chalet garden if you wish. We have many guests who have stayed with us on numerous occasions, I believe, because I take pride and care with the service I provide and promote a relaxed and friendly style. Ruana House offers you a warm welcome however long you choose to stay. I hope you like what you see and read on this site. | The delights of the open forest are close by for you to enjoy, perfect for a picnic or a pleasant walk. Serious hikers and bikers can get their kicks here too! Take the ferry from Lymington, a short cruise across the Solent takes you to the Isle of Wight, world famous for its abundance of fossils. Important notes: Ruana House is a non smoking establishment. I am sorry we do no allow pets. Due to demand at certain times during the year single night stays will not be available. |
