Welcome
The Royal Hotel is a family run public house in the village of Dungworth. Set on the edge of the Peak District high on the moors northwest of Sheffield but only a 20 minute drive from the center of the city and Meadow Hall shopping centre. Its location makes it the ideal place for people visiting the area but not wanting to stay in the hustle bustle of a city.
The Royal Hotel was built around 1813 and retains much of its original character. Owners Dave and Joanne Jubb and David and Linda Lambert offer all guests a warm and genuine welcome. There are 3 spacious and pristine en suite guest bedrooms, which include Bed and Breakfast. Evening meals are also served.
Activities
There are plenty of attractions locally, walking from novice to experienced hikers/ramblers for the more energetic, fishing from flay fishing and Ladybower Reservoir a 15 minute drive away and course fishing at Dam Flask on the doorstep. Also close by is clay pigeon shooting, golfing and horse riding (all by arrangement). If you are more into relaxing with a drink then come along and just enjoy the views. During the summer there is the local cricket team at Low Bradfield or visit the historic Bradfield Church at High Bradfield.
Also within easy distance Theatres, concerts, shopping at Meadowhall and national sporting events like snooker.

There are a good selection of beers and wine including Royal ale brewed solely for our own use by crown brewery.

The next morning, wake up to a Royal English Breakfast fit for a King or Queen. Each night before bed, select from a range of items for breakfast then hand the form in at the bar.
