The Royal Hotel is a privately owned 25 bedroom 3 star Hotel situated at Waterloo Liverpool, overlooking the Marine Gardens and the Mersey estuary, with views of the Wirral and North Wales in the distance.

This fine Grade 11 listed building dates back to 1815 whenit was named the Crosby Seabank Hotel. Just one year later, onthe first anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo-18th June 1816- its namewas changed to The Royal Waterloo Hotel, and the district around the hotel was also named after the famous battle.Today it retains much of its original character, with its grand proportions and Edwardian facade. Furnishings and décor have been carefully chosen to reflect the elegance of the era, whilst at the same time ensuring that surroundings are comfortable, relaxing and above all, homely

The Marine View Restaurant is open to both guests and non-residents every evening and all day Sunday. It serves an excellent choice of dishes from our extensive, reasonably priced Table d'hôte menu or from our special Sunday menu.

Refurbished in 1999 this light and airy Dinning room still retains the atmosphereand style of the original hotel with its ceiling moldings and ornate fireplaces.


THE SEABANK LOUNGE BAR

Comfortable and Stylish, our ever popular, refurbished, Lounge bar which is fully air conditioned is the perfect place to unwind.

Open to both guests and none residents, it serves an excellent selection of hot and cold meals, both at lunchtime and in the evening.

The warm and friendly hospitality that the Royal Hotel prides itself on is never more apparent than late in the evening when guests can be found relaxing in the luxurious leather furniture enjoying a drink from our extensive range of wines, spirits and beers.
