  | The Royal Hotel is a privately owned 25 bedroom 3 star Hotel situated at Waterloo Liverpool, overlooking the Marine Gardens and the Mersey estuary, with views of the Wirral and North Wales in the distance. This fine Grade 11 listed building dates back to 1815 whenit was named the Crosby Seabank Hotel. Just one year later, onthe first anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo-18th June 1816- its namewas changed to The Royal Waterloo Hotel, and the district around the hotel was also named after the famous battle.Today it retains much of its original character, with its grand proportions and Edwardian facade. Refurbished in 1999 this light and airy Dinning room still retains the atmosphereand style of the original hotel with its ceiling moldings and ornate fireplaces. |
