| Your Proprietors Jim & Elaine Davies entered the Licensed Trade in October 1974. Their oldest son Ivan was just 9 months old and Gareth their second son was born 'in the trade, on 17th July 1978. Jim and family have served Doncaster for 35 years to become one of Doncaster's longest serving Licensee's. Having run many pubs locally they are well known for their service and attitude in an ever changing trade. This year Jim was made junior president of FLVA and also a committee member of the Yorkshire Licence Victuallers' Association. Always ready to serve its members and to improve the Public House Trade. |
| We have large car parking facilities at both Hotels. The hotel has two function rooms, 'The Finningley Suite' which holds up to 80 guests & the 'Balcony Suite' which holds up to 40 guests. The Rockingham also has 8 rooms with luxurious en-suite facilities and 10 standard bedrooms. Enjoy our excellent catering facilities and carvery, which is open daily serving a selection of meats, vegetables, etc. You can dine in comfort and enjoy a drink from one of our fully licensed bars. Both Hotels offer catering facilities for Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays etc… with food served to fit the occasion, costing from £5 to £25 per head with a good choice of menus always available. |
