The Riverside Hotel is a Victorian Villa, tastefully decorated, set in a superb picturesque riverside setting on the banks of the River Wharfe. There is a chance of seeing kingfishers and badgers and a variety of ducks to feed. Rowing boats are available for hire from the hotel.The Dalesway starts just outside the door by the old Pack Horse Bridge. The bedrooms are all en-suite with TV/Sky, and tea/coffee making facilities. Rooms overlook the river, gardens or Ilkley Moor. There is a fine selection of hand pulled beers, wines and spirits. Also coffee or hot chocolate drinks are served in the comfortable lounge bar which boasts an open log fire in the winter. In the summer, meals and drinks are served on the patio overlooking the river.   |
A good, Yorkshire breakfast is served in the dining room and a full selection of newspapers and magazines are available to all guests. Lunches and dinner are served from 12 noon to 8.30pm. The Riverside offers that little bit more to make your stay extra special. We try, in every way to accommodate your individual requirements. Many of our guests come back time after time and are always welcomed by the locals! A large car park surrounds the hotel. Special rates are available for larger bookings or longer stays. |
The Riverside is ideal for golfers, businessmen, walkers or as a holiday base, being only a few minutes drive to Bolton Abbey, Barden Towers and handy for the Bronte Country. Ilkley Golf Course is just two minutes drive away. Enjoy relaxing riverside walks or a stroll through the Riverside Gardens to the Manor House Museum or the remains of the Roman Forte. Shops, restaurants, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis and squash courts are two minutes walk away in the beautiful town of Ilkley. Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate and Skipton are all easily visited by rail and car and Leeds/Bradford Airport is 20 minutes away. The personal attention on the proprietor makes the Riverside Hotel an ideal venue for all. |
