Riverside Guest House, 11KJanice and Sandy Chisholm have been running the guest house since 1979 and throughout that time have maintained the highest of standards courtesy and friendliness. As a result they are able to provide guests with that little bit of extra local information. Sometimes a small detail can be the difference between a good holiday and a great one

In 1984 the guest house was awarded the title "Best Guest House" by the British Guild of Travel Writers, this taken from a world-wide perspective. To this day that high standard of friendliness and value for money still apply.Riverside Guest House, 5K

Riverside Guest House, 7KCrianlarich is a small highland village of around 200 persons with two pubs, one church, and a railway station. Due to its geographical location the village is very busy throughout the season both with cars, buses, rail travellers, and walking enthusiasts. Crianlarich lies midway along the long distance footpath known as The West Highland Way which links Fort William with northern Glasgow, a distance of some 90 miles.

Some of the finest scenery in Scotland lies within a 30 mile radius from this West Perthshire highland village - and yet the village is only one hour from Glasgow Airport by car, and one and a half hours from Edinburgh Airport, these two major cities accounting for approx 75% of the entire population of Scotland.

Crianlarich is at the northern tip of the Loch Lomond National Park, Scotland's latest declared "area of outstanding beauty".
