         | Offering superb guest accommodation in the Yorkshire Dales Your host's Ann & Alex Roe, welcome you to River House Hotel A Victorian Country house hotel, originally built in 1664, offering superb breakfasts and evening meals. Centrally located in this beautiful Malhamdale Village amidst stunning scenery, with the Pennine way and other walking and cycling routes running just past the front door. A warm welcome awaits you on your arrival. We have recently been awarded a 4 Star rating by the AA and an AA egg cup award for an outstanding breakfast. We accept dogs in 2 of our bedrooms a twin room and a double room at a cost of £5.00 per dog by prior arrangement only. We only accept children over the age of 9. A warm welcome awaits you at River House Hotel. Upon entering the hotel, is our Victorian hall way dating back to 1879, with original cornicing and arch way moulding. This then leads you through to Reception and the Restaurant. The picture on the right is one of the rooms in the old Victorian part of the house. One has an ensuite bath room with a shower as well and the other three having ensuite shower rooms. Some of the rooms having original fire places. One of the bedrooms is situated on the ground floor which is suitable for disabled guests. The other four bedrooms as situated to the rear of the house. All four are ensuite and with power shower, one also having a bath in the ensuite as well. The Dining Room is where Quality Dales breakfasts are served to you each morning of your stay. We have recently been awarded an AA Egg Cup for an excellent breakfast. Only a select few in North Yorkshire have been awarded an Egg Cup. We also have an AA Dinner Award. Packed Lunches are available on request. The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday nights 6.30pm to 8.00pm open also to none residents - just ring to book a table. Restaurant prices are: Two Courses £14.50, Three Courses £17.95 |
