| Red House Farm, Haughley is situated in the picturesque countryside of Mid Suffolk. It offers very comfortable Bed & Breakfast, self catering (vacation rental) accommodation and a Caravan site.The farm is just half a mile from the village of Haughley, and an ideal base for exploring the many attractions in East Anglia. The attractive coastline and the historic cities of Cambridge, Norwich and Colchester are within easy reach.There are also many pretty villages and towns in the area. Mid Suffolk have excellent facilities for horse riding, swimming fishing, golf, walking, cycling and bird watching. An adequate bus service which passes by the farm and a main line Railway Station in Stowmarket make car free days possible. |

Breakfast Breakfast is served in the dining room which has an inglenook fireplace. You can choose from a flexible menu which includes locally produced food, home-made preserves and bread, as well as free range eggs. There is a Guest sitting room with Television & DVD player and a separate dining room. |

| Self Catering Garden Cottage Our charming cottage which adjoins the farmhouse is very well furnished and equipped .There is a sitting room with TV, well equipped kitchen and a porch on the ground floor.
On the first floor there is a double bedroom and bathroom (with shower over the bath). The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave oven. It accommodates 2 persons + cot. Guests have the use of the large garden which surrounds the house and Patio furniture is also included. Parking in Garden. It has a large kitchen/living area which is comfortably furnished and well equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher, cooker, microwave oven and plenty of cupboards and work surfaces. also TV, Digital Freeview, DVD and CD/radio player.
The main bedroom has double or twin beds (zip and link beds which allow either single or double sleeping). It has an en suite wet room which includes a "drive in" shower and included is a shower stool with back rest. This has been specially converted with wheelchair users in mind. The second bedroom has twin beds but also has the option of single or double sleeping. There is also a fully fitted second bathroom. It is single storey which makes it suitable for guests who cannot manage stairs.
The Kitchen/living area is well equipped with fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave oven and dishwasher with plenty cupboard space and work surfaces. It is also equipped with TV, Digital freeview, DVD and CD/Radio player. The bathroom is fully fitted with a walk in shower. | Places to Visit Nearby Red House Farm is an ideal base for exploring the many attractions in East Anglia. The historic cities of Cambridge, Norwich and Colchester are within easy reach. The Attractive coastline includes Southwold, Aldeburgh, Woodbridge and Snape Maltings Concert Hall. Other Places to visit are Lavenham, Long Melford, Sudbury, Kersey, Clare, Cavendish and Bury St. Edmunds with its famous Abbey Gardens. To the north are the charming towns of Eye, Debenham and Framlingham. To the south is Constable Country which was made famous by the artist John Constable. In the nearby town of Stowmarket is the Museum of East Anglian Life. At Brockford is the Museum of the old Mid Suffolk Light Railway which is the only railway museum in Suffolk. Nearby at Cotton is a Mechanical Music Museum where you can spend Sunday afternoons listening to recitals on the Wurlitzer Organ. |
