| Rose Barn Cottages Our two charming self catering cottages have been decorated and furnished to a high standard. Each cosy cottage has a bathroom and two bedrooms, sleeping up to four people. The fully fitted kitchens include a washing machine and dishwasher. The comfortable lounge area has TV, Video and DVD. Both cottages have a cloakroom downstairs. Under-floor central heating, hot water and electricity are provided along with all towels and linen. ![]() Location The self catering cottages are in our recently converted Rose Barn situated in the original farmyard, with its listed timber framed barn, dating back to approximately 1700. Our family have farmed in the area for 150 years. We grow mainly cereal crops and rear lambs on the old meadowland surrounding the farm. The farm is peacefully situated in the South Cambridgeshire countryside, to the north of the unspoilt village of Great Eversden, through which the Greenwich Meridian Line runs. We are only seven miles from the historic University City of Cambridge, in the heart of East Anglia. Red House Farm provides an ideal base for visiting many other local attractions including Duxford Air Museum, Ely, Newmarket, The Norfolk Broads and Suffolk. Wimpole Hall National Trust Property is just a lovely two mile walk across the ancient Mare Way ridge with views of Cambridge. Visitors are welcome to use our walk map as a guide around our various farm walks. Please note: No smoking, no pets and no credit cards.
