Chris and Margo Brown offer you a warm welcome in their Victorian house in the heart of St. Cross, on the southern side of Winchester, easily reached by car, train, or air (Southampton Airport 9 miles).
We are only a ten minute walk to the Cathedral and City Centre, and very close to the beautiful Water Meadows and the 12th Century St. Cross Chapel and almshouses. Winchester College and the University are also very close by.
The first floor double bed guest room (Left Photo) is well furnished and quiet, overlooking the garden. It contains a hand basin, with it's own toilet and bath/shower just below on the ground floor.
The second floor guest room (Right photo) is a cosy single with en-suite toilet, handbasin and shower.
TV in both rooms, ironing facilities and WI-FI connection.
Guests are offered a wide choice of breakfasts in an elegant dining room.
'Continental' breakfast is included in the room rate, with a small supplement for 'Full English'.
Cars can be parked outside with a free visitors' permit.
The bus into the centre stops just outside.
Chris and Margo will do whatever they can to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They have lived in the area for many years and we be very happy to help you with suggestions on local places to visit, restaurants, pubs, shopping etc...
