The eighteenth century PUNCHBOWL is situated only 8 miles from Oxford on the A44 Stratford-upon-Avon road, in the historic town of Woodstock. The main entrance gate to Blenheim Palace, the home of the Duke of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, is close by.
The Punchbowl is a Grade II Listed building with a light and airy atmosphere, with exposed stone walls and an open log burning fireplace in the bar.
Bar meals, afternoon tea and fine ales are served in the bar. Traditional games, are played including AUNT SALLY, which is only played in Oxfordshire.
Guest accommodation comprises of ten en-suite rooms, all with colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. Guests have a resident's car park at the rear of the inn, accessed from Hensington Road.
