The first floor lounge and conservatory offer a most impressive view across Loch Eriboll to Ben Hope and Ben Loyal. Here guests can enjoy not only the scenery but also the varied wild life, including seals, otters, porpoise, occasionally whales, and birds too numerous to mention. If weather conditions are not conducive to venturingoutside, the lounge is always available and we have quite an extensive library where guests are at liberty to browse, read and generally take it easy.At Port-na-Con we enjoy a reputation of good food; whether it is our extensive breakfast menu, or the three course evening meal which is served at 7pm. To accompany your meal we have an excellent selection of good wines from various parts of the world. Vegetarian meals are always available and some special diets can be catered for ifadvised at the time of booking. In addition special requests, for example lobsters, can also be catered for, again ifbooked in advance. This is so that we can arrange for the fresh produce to be obtained.
