Portclew House is a grand Georgian Country House set in three acres of ground. Over recent years several of the outbuildings surounding the house have been restored and converted into luxurious self catering cottages.
This ideal location in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is just a stone's throw to the beautiful bay at Freshwater East and the coastal footpath which can be joined close by.This Family run establishment is suitable whether your stay is for business or pleasure. You will find the friendly, comfortable surroundings most welcoming.
We do not accept any pets into either the guesthouse or the self catering cottages. Smoking is prohibited in both types of accommodation also. |

Accommodation
We have seven bedrooms consisting of family, double, twin and single rooms. All have en suite facilities, colour TV, hairdryers and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Cots, highchairs, telephone and ironing facilities are available upon request. Wireless internet connection available.
A good, hearty Aga cooked Breakfast will start your day. On more pleasant days you may wish to eat al fresco on the balcony which adjoins the dining room. We thank you for not smoking.

Area
Pembroke Town is just a few miles away when a visit to Henry VII's birthplace at Pembroke Castle is a must. Bosherston lily ponds should not be missed nor St. Govan's Chapel.
We are ideally located for all beach lovers and water sport enthusiasts who should visit the bays at Freshwater East, West Angle, Manorbier, Tenby, Broadhaven South, Freshwater West and not forgetting the paradise found at the hidden bay of Barafundle.
Families will want a day out at Oakwood Theme Park which is just 15 miles away and where some of the biggest UK rides can be found, or at Heatherton Country Park, where you can try your hand at such activities as golf, archery, go-karting and paint balling.

By Road: M4 to Carmarthen links with M5, M50 and major trunk roads. From Carmarthen follow the A477, turn left at Milton Village for Lamphey. In Lamphey turn left and then take the B4584 for Freshwater East.
By Rail: There are fast train services from most parts of Britain and through trains in summer.
By Sea: From Ireland, ferries sail into Pembroke Dock and Fishguard.
By Coach: Express service operates daily.
