A beautiful historic house situated in the centre of the village of Beddgelert in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, Plas Colwyn is an elegant stone built house which still retains many original features and has been welcoming visitors to the area since the early 1800's.
You enter the "plas" ( or mansion in Welsh) through a bright entrance hall with stripped pine floor, off which is a cosy lounge with wood burning stove and dining room where everyone can eat together. The house has a well equipped farmhouse style kitchen, with dishwashers, fridges, freezer, and a gas cooking range with a large oven and 6 ring hob. There is a further living room which acts as a games/tv area and 2 bathrooms.
The sleeping accommodation is arranged as follows: Ground floor - double bedroom with ensuite shower Lower ground floor - 2 twin bedded rooms First Floor - double bedded room, 2 large front double bedrooms with ensuite showers and fabulous views of the river and mountains beyond, a further large double room with the option of an extra bed, large twin room with an extra bed, and a bunk bedded room.
