 | Pentre Bach is situated up a beautiful valley at the foot of the magnificent Berwyn Nature Reserve and mountains in south-east Snowdonia. It is about half a mile from the picturesque village of Llandrillo which is just seven miles east of Bala, renowned for its lake, the largest natural one in Wales. Landrillo boasts a thriving local community and has a post office cum general stores, a pub/restaurant and two further restaurants. It is an hour away from the north and west coasts. |
 | The Berwyn Nature Reserve, with the mountains climbing to nearly 3,000ft, is renowned for its fine walking and panoramic views. This wild landscape with its heather moorlands is home to many upland birds. Stride out along the mountain ridge or saunter along the lower, wooded tracks, there is everything a walker or mountain biker could wish for. Motor bikes are not permitted on the Reserve. Nearby there is canoeing, white water rafting, horse riding, golf and most other activities and sports. |
 | Pentre Bach is a farmhouse dating back in part to the 17th century. It is situated in 14 acres of deciduous woodland, meadows and river bank with glorious walks from and around the house from where you may spot a varied amount of birds, including the red kite, kingfishers, peregrines and barn owls. Summer visitors such as redstarts, wheatears, pied flycatchers, swallows and house martins nest around the house and outbuildings and we have a noisy colony of house sparrows! |
 | The guest bedroom has its own entrance by way of a rustic oak staircase leading up to a balcony with stunning, far reaching views. It is a lovely spacious room with a very comfortable super king bed which can be separated to form two twin beds. It has en-suite shower, w.c. and washbasin. The lounge area has a sofa, coffee table, hospitality tray and remote control television. |
| Meals are taken in the conservatory where you will enjoy home-baked bread and fresh local produce all prepared and cooked with great care. Stabling and grazing can be offered for those who would like to bring their horses. Cycles and other items can be safely stored in our secure outbuildings. Car parking is on private grounds. Rooms are non-smoking. Bed and Breakfast per night for two people - from £55 Bed and Breakfast per night for single person - from £35 Reductions are available for stays of more than three nights Children under twelve sharing - £12 Evening meals and packed lunches are available. |
