The owners of the Penarvor pride themselves on the quality of the food served in the Crystal Restaurant. Procurement begins each morning and continues throughout the day looking for fresh ingredients to serve that evening.
If they can't find it fresh such as a particular fish they will substitute something else that is fresh. Menu changes daily which is a plus for people staying extended times. |

For those who enjoy walking, the hotel is adjacent to the National Trust's Heritage Coast. Cliffs run north to Hartland Point and beyond, with bracing views from some of Britain's highest cliffs, dotted with clumps of pink candytuft where the ozone-laced air comes fresh off the Atlantic.
The harbour and canal workings give a glimpse of Bude's past, which has grown from a working port during the last century into a delightful holiday town that has changed little since John Betjeman described it as one of the least spoilt of resorts. For the active and the not so active, Bude offers a variety of sporting activities throughout the year.
For the golfer and jazz enthusiast, the Hotel Penarvor offers special golfing holidays and jazz weekends.
From the Hotel Penarvor a profusion of places are within easy travelling distance. To the north is the picturesque village of Clovelly and to the south are Boscastle and Tintagel, famous for the legend of King Arthur. Travel to Bude is easy.
- Take the M5 to Exeter and then the A30 dual carriageway bypassing Okehampton.
- You will approach a roundabout, with Bude signposted to the right.
- The follow the Bude signs.
- Once there you will find us just 50 yards from Crooklets Beach.
