| Peacock House is a warm, comfortable former farmhouse its rural location offering tranquility and numerous walking opportunities. Situated only 3½ miles from the bustling market town of East Dereham, it is ideally located for exploring Norfolk being only 30 minutes drive from Norwich and the coast and within easy distance of Sandringham House, Walsingham the Broads and numerous other places of historic and general interest. |

| The farmhouse has been tastefully renovated to provide comfortable centrally heated accommodation, carefully retaining its character and charm with beamed ceilings and large open fires. |

The three en-suite guest bedrooms two double and one twin are traditionally and prettily furnished to provide guests with every comfort; each having its own bathroom, television, electric blankets and tea/coffee making facilities. Guests have the exclusive use of a large, comfortably furnished sitting room with a wood burning stove and colour television, together with books and games and maps and information on what to see and do in the area. ![]() A first class full English breakfast is served in the long dining room with views of the garden and an open fire on chilly mornings. Here guests may enjoy a choice of teas or fresh coffee, homemade bread and yoghurt, local produce and our own homemade preserves. A choice of alternative breakfasts is always available and special diets can be catered for by arrangement. Evening meals on request. ![]() |
| Peacock House is set in its own 2½ acres of garden orchard and meadow, where our chickens roam free-range and is surrounded by open farmland and woodland. We pride ourselves on offering a high standard of accommodation to our guests and also the opportunity to share on the friendly relaxed atmosphere of our home. |

| Directions To find us, from Dereham market place, take the B1146 (Holt Road) north out of Dereham opposite the George Hotel. Continue on this road for 3½ miles (it becomes the B1110), do not turn to Beetley but continue towards North Elmham. You will see our farmhouse set on the right hand side up a short lane, opposite Toad Hall and clearly marked with a bed and breakfast sign. The house is painted cream. ![]() |
