Welcome to The Paddock Guest House in Keswick. Val and Alan offer you a warm welcome on your arrival. The Paddock Guest House is a delightful residence of charm and character dating from the mid 1800s. Situated in a quiet residential area, yet only a few minutes level walk from the town centre, beautiful Fitz Park or the lake shore.
The Paddock Guest House has six en-suite bedrooms with many of the rooms offering fell views, so each morning you can awake and enjoy the beauty of Lakeland from your bedroom window. including one family room. Families wanting to stay at The paddock are also offered our family room which sleeps 2 adults and 1 child (5 to 15 years). |

There is private parking at the side of the guest house and unrestricted street parking at the front of the building. There is also a drying room to hang damp clothes and boots after a day on the fells. |
| Self Catering at Ashness Apartment
Located on the Main street of Keswick, Ashness apartment provides a spacious self catering two floor maisonette in the heart of the Northern Lake District. The three bedroomed (all en-suite) property sleeps up to six people and sits above a local bookshop and has stunning Lakeland views of Keswick market square with its dramatic backdrop of Walla Crag and Clough Head and North to the magnificent Skiddaw (the picture to the right is taken from the lounge window).
Ashness apartment has double glazed windows throughout, is centrally heated and has instant hot water - all utilities are included in the price. Duvets, blankets, pillows and bed linen are provided (please bring your own towels). Two parking permits are provided for use in the nearby town car parks. The property is owner maintained and live only five minutes away to deal with any occurances.
The apartment is ideal for convenient and hassle free holidays in Keswick, the heart of the Northern Lake District. The accommodation consists of three good sized bedrooms: the main bedroom has fitted wardrobes, a comfortable king size bed and an en-suite bathroom with an bath (and shower), w.c. and sink. The double room has a shower room with w.c and a sink in the bedroom. The third bedroom has twin beds, a shower room with w.c, a sink in the bedroom and views towards the Keswick square and the Moot Hall.
On the top floor, the fully fitted kitchen has a gas oven, grill and gas hob, a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge (with freezer compartment) and other appliances. From the kitchen there are views over Skiddaw. Within the kitchen there is also a dining area with a large farmhouse table and seating for six.
Also on the top floor is the spacious and bright living room with a flat screen television, DVD and CD player. There are two comfortable leather sofas and a wooden pool table. There is a also a reading corner with a good selection of books and board games. There are tremendous views from each of the three windows - firstly over the town square with the famous Moot Hall and the Lakeland fells in the background (Walla Crag, Falcons crag ad Clough head). The second window looks over towards Cat Bells and the velux window has a magnificent view of Skiddaw.
Finally, the apartment has a large airing cupboard to dry wet clothes (from the washing machine or the weather!). The property is centrally heated throughout and all windows are double glazed. There is also an integrated fire alarm system within the property for your peace of mind.
