This former rural village post-office & shop, dates from 1813. We offer a very large double/family room with adjacent conservatory over-looking an attractive garden. Guests have their own bathroom, TV/video, and tea and coffee facilities.
 Breakfast includes local, free-range and home-made produce. We can cater for special diets by prior notice. A local pub, 20 minutes walk away, serves evening meals.
There is much to attract the nature-lover, walker and cyclist in this quiet location in historic Breckland.Nearby is Peddars Way: the ancient footpath to the north Norfolk coast. Ramblers can be met or dropped off by arrangement. Cycles can be locked up in the garage over night.
Guests can choose from a wide range of activities and places to visit in both Norfolk and Suffolk from brochures available in the room. Thetford Forest is 10 minutes drive away, Norwich 25 minutes, the Broads 40 minutes, and historic Bury St Edmunds, 35 minutes. On the doorstep, is beautiful Norfolk country side and a board walk over Stow Bedon mere.
