The Old Croft House is a Grade II listed Georgian town house situated in the market town of Kirkby Stephen in the beautiful Eden Valley. It is full of character and is somewhere a little bit special and different to stay. It has many unusual features with a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. This makes it an ideal retreat for walkers (especially for Wainwrights Coast to Coast), tourers, and cyclists and for those just wanting a peaceful stay in this stunning area. This ideal locating is also close to the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, and the Pennines and is only a small step away from the Scottish border. As you enter the house, you are welcomed by a shining knight and the oak paneled hall leads you to the dining room and lounge where, in the winter, a warming open fire greets you. We really look forward to receiving you into the Old Croft House and will do everything we can to make your stay, however long or short, a relaxing and enjoyable one. |
| Rooms All of our bedrooms have a colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, cordials, foot spa and bathrobes. All have en-suite shower or bath except one which has its own private facilities across the landing. |

| Tariff Our front facing bedrooms look over the market square of Kirkby Stephen and the famous cloisters which lead into the church. The rooms to the rear of the house overlook our courtyard garden. The bedrooms are: Double and Twin en-suite with shower £28.00 per person per night Superior Double/Twin en-suite £30.00 per person per night Double room non en-suite with private bathroom facilities £25.00 per person A full English breakfast is included and is served at 8am. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know. Evening meals are available for £15.00 or £19.50 for a three course set menu and we always try to use fresh local produce. We are not licensed, but you are welcome to bring your own wine to accompany meals. |
