It was built in 1843 as the Police Station & Jail and extended in 1858 to incorporate the Court House. |

For the safety & comfort of all our guests, The Old Court House is a Non Smoking Guest House.All bedrooms have full en-suite shower rooms. Two are lovely "Four Poster" and we have a ground floor Twin and Double. They are tastefully decorated - bright, fresh and of course sparkling clean.
Each room is fully fitted and contains colour TV, complimentary Tea/Coffee trays, hairdryers and radio alarms. ![]() Start your day in the cheerful dining room - help yourselves to a selection of cereals and fruits and then enjoy our freshly cooked full English breakfast. | Directions From the M6 take junction 36 onto A590. Continue onto A591 till Windermere. Turn into Windermere village.
