| Accommodation We would like to welcome you to our family run farmhouse Bed and Breakfast, The Old Vicarage B&B can be found in the small Mid Wales village of Erwood between Brecon and Builth Wells in the upper reaches of the Wye Valley. With all the original features remaining, having spacious attractive rooms with ornate French beds dating from 1870 to 1930, all refurbished and certain to provide a restful nights sleep. The beds have the added comfort of cotton sheets and traditional welsh blankets spun in the Welsh valleys of South Wales dating from 1900 to 1960. Bedcovers are newly spun Welsh throws in the twin room, with beautiful Hungarian linen cart covers adapted to bed covers in the double rooms these are about 120 years old. I also have a selection of cushions made from Welsh blankets and vintage French and Hungarian linen in all of the rooms. The double standard room is decorated in a cabbage and roses theme with a beautiful vintage linen cart cover hand printed in this design. |
| Bed and Breakfast Breakfasts are served with our own bacon and sausages from our own pigs reared at The Old Vicarage having had a happy life foraging in the paddocks an absolute delight to watch. Eggs are from hens that are left to freely roam and enjoy life in the open countryside. I also make my own bread and preserves ranging from orange & nectarine to kiwi fruit, all are very different flavours. A truly tasty experience! One night stays welcome No single supplement throughout the year Pets welcome We have just acquired a Farm Holiday Diploma. |
