About Us

Situated on the Wiltshire/Dorset border in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Oakdale House is a comfortable contemporary house facing south overlooking neighbouring fields and woods and is within easy reach of wonderful walking country; including the Wessex Ridgeway, the Coach Road, the Ox Grove, Win Green and Wardour Woods.

The beautiful villages of Donhead St Andrew and Donhead St Mary lie between Salisbury Plain and the A303 to the north and Cranborne Chase and the A30 to the South.

Oakdale House is ten minutes drive from Shaftesbury to the west and twenty minutes from Salisbury to the east - an ideal location from which to explore one of the most beautiful and tranquil parts of southern England.

Within a three minute walk is The Forester, a warm and welcoming pub with excellent food.
