The Medieval village of Robertsbridge has a mainline railway station, general store, baker, post office, chemist, florist, salon, book shop, bank, bike shop, public houses and restaurants not to mention the fish and chip shop all within walking distance.
It provides an ideal base for exploring East Sussex, being steeped in history, with the market town of Battle and it's Abbey, Bodiam Castle, and Batemans all only a short drive away.NT properties, Castles, Country Houses and Gardens, Vineyards and Golf Courses along with the Cinque Ports of Rye and Winchelsea, the seaside towns of Hastings, with stunning coastal walks, Bexhill, Camber and Eastbourne will give you endless opportunities for a great break.
