The village also has a beautiful 13th century parish church - The Cathedral of the Vale where John Betjeman the Poet Laureate was once a Churchwarden. A museum, open at weekends in summer, is to be found in the former school house, which is featured in Thomas Hughes' Tom Brown's Schooldays. |
