Newton Farmhouse ...

Newton Farmhouse is situated approximately 7 miles south of the Medieval Cathedral city of Salisbury (which boasts the tallest spire in England, an original copy of the Magna Carta and the oldest known working clock).

The ancient and mystical monument of Stonehenge is North of Salisbury and we are within 10 minutes drive of the New Forest, which is marvelous for bike rides, rural walks and experiencing the wild ponies and deer at first hand.

Newton Farmhouse is conveniently located for a wide range of places of interest, including the historic Cathedral city of Winchester and the maritime city of Portsmouth with Lord Nelson's flagship "HMS Victory" and "HMS Warrior", the first ever iron clad warship. Henry VIII's flagship the "Mary Rose" is housed in a museum in Portsmouth, together with thousands of artifacts which were found following the recovery of the vessel from the sea bed where she lay undisturbed since 1545.

The county of Wiltshire is renowned for many National Trust Properties and gardens, together with other nearby attractions, including Wilton House, Heal & Exbury Gardens, Broadlands, Avebury, Longleat, Poultons Park, the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, plus many places to visit for both family day trips and romantic visits. Some of the finest trout fishing in the UK on the River Test is in nearby Romsey together with excellent horst riding, golf and picturesque walks.

Gatwick and Heathrow airports are 2 hours and 1.5 hours away respectively and Southampton airport is 20 minutes drive away.
