| The Newlands hotel is a small and friendly 8 bedroom licensed hotel catering for families and couples and is ideally placed in central Blackpool. The Newlands is less than 250 yards from the sea front and the central pier, yet handy for the town centre and its many shops and arcades, the football ground, car parks, bus and train stations, tram stops, Blackpool tower, the winter gardens, Sea Life centre, Waxworks and local multi-screen cinema. If it's thrills and excitement you're after; Blackpool's famous 'Pleasure Beach' is just a stroll along the promenade or a short tram ride away, altogether making the Newlands hotel the ideal place to cater for all your holiday needs. |

 Phil and Heather moved from Ripley in Derbyshire to take over the Newlands hotel at the end of June 2003 with the intention of making it 'the best place to stay in Blackpool'; and with over 4000 Hotels, Guest Houses and Bed & Breakfasts in the blackpool area we knew that total dedication and complete Customer Satisfaction would be the key. From a backgound of 15 years in 'quality' (phil has a Masters Degree in Quality Management), both Phil and Heather know that your holiday accommodation can mean the difference between a 'good' holiday and a 'great' holiday. With this in mind we strive to ensure that everything you need from a small hotel is provided. Friendliness, cleanliness, home cooking, entertainment (Phil was also part of a cabaret act for some 16 years) and value for money are all at the top of our list to help make your visit to Blackpool more enjoyable. | Bedrooms: The Newlands Hotel has single (bunks), double and family rooms available, several with full en-suite facilities. All our guest rooms are comfortable, clean and centrally heated with wash basin, adequate storage (for clothing etc.), colour Television and tea and coffee making facilities.  Typical family room, large and spacious, sleeps up to four people comfortably. En-suite family rooms also available.  Typical 'standard' double room. Good size rooms, sleeps two persons very comfortably.  Typical en-suite double room. Large and roomy, sleeps two persons very comfortably. |
Dining Room: Enjoy a home-cooked breakfast between 8 and 9am in our bright and homely dining room. Evening meals and buffets for larger parties, are also available (please request on booking).Alternatively, why not visit the bar for a light snack or bar meal - available all day. |
Bar: Relax in the bar area, which is open all day for your favorite tipple (be it tea, coffee or even something a little stronger!). Snacks and meals (including childrens portions), crisps, sweets, etc. always available.  Children allowed at all times and there's always music, games and toys around to keep them entertained. Any hotel seems so much brighter when holidaying children are around, therefore, Phil and Heather encourage families to visit. |
