Ideal for exploring this part of Essex with the pretty villages of Thaxted, Finchingfield and the market town of Saffron Walden close by. Beautiful Audley End house is a ten minute drive. The university city of Cambridge and Duxford war museum are a thirty minute drive. Easy access to the M11, Stansted airport is 10 miles. The bedrooms are cosy and well equipped, guests can relax in the conservatory overlooking the garden, or in warmer weather there is a large summer house to unwind and enjoy the garden. Garden games are available, including a 9 hole fun putting course for the more energetic! Tray snacks are served until 8.00 pm. Limited long term parking.
