 | The Moorfield House Hotel is situated in the famous town of Braemar - steeped in Scottish history. Not only is it renowned for its royal connections (The Queen often visits the highland games which is held right in front of the hotel) but it is also the highest and most mountainous parish in the UK.
If you enjoy hill walking or mountaineering, there are 24 Munros nearby (mountains of over 3,000ft) so there is something for everyone. If you are a golfer you must play the local course which is the highest 18-hole golf course in the country. Skiers know the area well, as the famous Glenshee Ski Centre is just up the road.
