Village & woodland walks: Ladies Walk & Monk's Trout Pond; Wooded National trust land & remains of abbey St Michaels Hill; Far reaching views on a clear day from the folly on top of this wooded hill, which has perhaps the best Norman motte & bailey earthworks in Somerset.

Ham Hill Country Park; great views, interesting walks. An iron age fort + Roman occupation and where the mellow coloured Ham stone was quarried to construct buildings in the surrounding villages.
