Welcome
Minster view is considered by many to be one of the outstanding guest houses in York. Spacious and classically refurbished to its original Victorian style, many of the bedrooms have had en-suite facilities added. Situated in a quiet position looking over parks to the west of the Minster, its proximity to the city centre allows residents immediate pedestrian access to the many pleasures of York.
We are open all year round with bargain winter breaks between November through March inclusive. Most of our rooms have full en-suite facilities with access at any time of the day. We also have ground floor rooms available for guests who would find this more convenient. All our rooms have colour televisions, tea/coffee making facilities and full central heating.
A city steeped with history, York has many historical buildings such as the world famous Minster and city walls to Clifford's Tower and the Shambles.
There are endless museums to visit including The Yorkshire Museum, The Jorvik Centre and the ARC, The National Railway Museum, The Castle Museum and much more. Tourists from far and wide have made a visit to York and oftentimes returned as a result of their previous experience. |

Although Minster View Guest House is close to the City Centre, it is situated in a peaceful location opposite a park facing the west of the Minster, ensuring that you get a good nights sleep. Our large Victorian windows allow you to look out over the picturesque City of York in a light and airy room.
Each bedroom is decorated true to Victorian elegance and include some interesting features such as grand Victorian fireplaces. Every bedroom has ample lighting to augment the feeling of relaxation, making bedtime reading a comfort.
