Genuine Warmth and Hospitality

The Mill House Hotel is ideally located in the heart of the Cotswolds between Chipping Norton and Stow-on-the-Wold. However it is only 90 minutes by car from Central London or 75 minutes by Inter-City from Paddington.

It is one of the last Independent family owned hotels left in the Cotswolds and guarantees the very highest standards of personal service from long-standing local staff.

The Hotel is set in seven acres of beautiful maintained lawned gardens with its own trout stream, the Cornwall Brook and dates back to the Domesday Book of 1086. The Mill House is open all year round - indeed, we have established a reputation for the warmth of our Christmas and New Year gatherings. We are also more than happy to offer our hospitality for any red letter day and indeed, make every special occasion all the memorable.

A beautiful setting and genuine comfort are not all that sets us apart. We pride ourselves on a welcome and service that are both scrupulous and friendly, attentive but not overbearing.

A staff of over thirty is on hand to provide thoughtful and personal attention to ensure that you stay is as carefree and relaxing as we can make it.

Aside from some of the finest country walks in Britainr you can visit the Cotswolld stone villages of Chipping Campden, Chedworth, Winchcombe, Witney, Burford or Broadway - all of them retaining much of their rustic charm. You can take a walk around such beauty spots such as BlenheimPalace and Hidcote Gardens, or else you can wander amidst the dreaming spires of Oxford, the quiet beauty of Cheltenham or the Tudor architecture of Stratford on Avon. Whatever you prefer - a night at the theatre, a day at the races or simply an exciting shopping expedition - you'll find them all within easy reach of the Mill House Hotel.

Keen golfers, swimmers, squash players and riders will find facilities to indulge themselves close at hand.
