Our guest house is situated in the very centre of the Village
Hanna & Beverley Gent welcome old & new customers to their newly established home right in the heart of the very lovely village of Bourton on the Water, sometimes called the Venice of the Cotswolds because of the River Windrush that winds its way through the main street.
At the very end of Sherbourne Street you will find Pock Hill Lane, overlooking a beautiful Meadow. In season it will be filled with baby lambs and rabbits, you may even see the occasional fox. You will also be able to see the stable hands taking the horses out for their exercise from the local stables. These are all wonderful views, from your bedroom or from our dining room window.
Our house is situated in a very pretty and quiet corner of Bourton on the Water with beautiful views from all rooms.
You could take afternoon tea & biscuits in the garden (free on arrival if requested).

The Visitor Information Centre
Only 3 minutes away, the very helpful staff at the centre are able to offer you a very wide choice of interesting places to visit. Plus Maps, Leaflets, Guide Books and details of walks in the Cotswold counryside.
Our Rooms
We have four en-suite double rooms available.
One is on the second floor with panoramic views and three are on the first floor overlooking the Meadow.
One room has a four poster bed.
All rooms are provided with:

- A copy of the Bible
- Tea & coffee making facilities
- A small refrigerator holds a jug of fresh milk, extra cartons of milk and bottled water (A bucket of ice is available on request).

A hospitality basket containing a selection of soaps, shower gel, shower caps, sewing kit and shoe cleaning kit

How to Find Us
Directions from A40 Oxford
Turn right at roundabout onto the A429 towards Stow on the Wold. Continue 4 miles to staggered junction, then turn right into Landsdowne. Keep straight on and past a parade of shops on your right. Take the 1st turning on your right into Sherbourne Street, continue over the bridge past the Motor Museum, bear right at Warren Cottage. Then turn right into Pock Hill Lane and we are the second house on the right where the Union Jack flag flies.

Stay on the A429, go straight across the traffic lights (signposted left to Bourton on the Water). Continue to a staggered junction and turn left onto Landsdowne. Keep straight on and past a parade of shops on your right. Take the 1st turning on your right into Sherbourne Street, continue over the bridge past the Motor Museum, bear right at Warren Cottage. Then turn right into Pock Hill Lane and we are the second house on the right where the Union Jack flag flies and a warm welcome awaits you.
