Sandra and David Lennon, welcome you to Meadow Cottage. They have 15 years experience of running guesthouse and self-catering accommodation. They have recently extended and refurbished their 18thC cottage to a high standard to accommodate bed and breakfast guests.

Set in 1.5 acres Meadow Cottage is on a quiet country lane and just a short walk from Ratherheath Tarn. It is the perfect place from which to explore the many different features of the Lake District.

All rooms have beautiful views of the surrounding countryside with the Howgill and Kentmere hills in the distance. Each bedroom is stylishly presented and combines the character of the past and convenience of the present with en-suite, tea and coffee making facilities and colour TV.

Aga cooked breakfasts are an added delight and vegetarians are easily catered for.

We have a non-smoking policy.

The historic market town of Kendal is just 3 miles away and provides museums, art galleries and shops. Lake Windermere is 5 miles away and offers many attractions and pleasures.
