| Places of Interest DRUM MANOR FOREST PARK is the most centrally located forest park in the province, lying south of the Sperrin Mountains and west of Lough Neagh. The park consists of the shell of the Manor House and tower, the fish ponds, which have a variety of native wildfowl including mute swans, a butterfly garden which is unique to this forest park with a wide variety of wild flowers and shrubs specially grown to attract most of our native butterfly species and 100 acres of woodland with native and exotic tree species. The park is 100m from Manorview and is an ideal way to relax. WELLBROOK BEETLING MILL is approximately 1 mile from Manorview. The Beetling Mill was the final stage in the linen production process. Wellbrook is the last working beetling mill in Northern Ireland and the water-powered mill has its original machinery still in working order. Costume guides bring the mill to life. BEAGHMORE STONE CIRCLES date back to about 1600 BC. There are a total of seven circles, six of which are paired. A typical feature of the Beaghmore Stone Rows is a high and low arrangement where short rows of tall stones run beside much longer rows of small stones. This site is of great interest and is approximately 5 miles from Manorview. FISHING - Manorview is located approximately 400m from the Ballinderry River and Kildress Angling Club. The river is well known for its fishing and permits are available on request. Rectory Lodge Trout Fishery is 11/2 miles from Manorview and is open from Thursday to Sunday. KILLYMOON GOLF CLUB, located on the outskirts of Cookstown, was founded in 1889. The course is mainly parkland and reasonably flat, although it does pose quite a challenge to the unwitting golfer.
