| Lower Pen-y-Clawdd Farm is set in the stunning countryside between Monmouth and Abergavenny in South Wales and offers a range of beautiful cottages to suit all tastes all year round. The Farm and Local Attractions The farm is situated two miles from Raglan and its famous castle, six miles from Monmouth and the beautiful Wye Valley. The Welsh capital Cardiff is 30 miles away. An excellent location to explore the Forest of Dean, Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons. The area is good for fishing, golf and walking. There are many excellent pubs in the area. | Our Accommodation Lower Pen-y-Clawdd Farm offers a range of quality accommodation to suite all requirements set in beautiful surroundings, within a short distance of Abergavenny, Usk and Monmouth, with easy access to the motorway. Cottages Camelia Cottage has double bed and extra child's bed or cot if required. Swallow Cottage has family bedroom with one double and one single bed, and second bedroom with double bed. | Directions The farm is situated close to the A40 (dual carriageway between Newport & Monmouth) If travelling from Monmouth turn into Raglan services and take the first left over cattle grid and then right on to farm. If travelling from Newport take the Raglan exit and then follow signs for Mitchell Troy, after approx 2 miles take a right turn signposted Pen-y-clawdd, pass over the A40 and take the next right (private road), continue along drive to the farm. If travelling from Abergavenny, take the A40 to Raglan, take the Monmouth exit then follow signs for Mitchell Troy. |
