| A spacious modern family home in a peaceful village surrounded by rolling countryside. An ideal base for touring. Tucked away in a quiet lane in glorious open countryside, Grahame and Helen Knight look forward to welcoming you to their delightful modern house set in large secluded gardens in the village of Charlton Horethorne. Situated between Wincanton on the A303 and Sherborne on the A30 and less than 5 miles from either, it is very easily accessible from all major routes yet is well protected from the hustle and bustle. Although quiet, there are a host of opportunities for exploring.

If you are looking for a base for touring or just somewhere to relax and enjoy the country tranquillity then look no further. Nearby there are over 1,000 miles of paths and tracks suitable for cycling or walking. Sherborne with its historic Abbey, 2 castles (one built by Sir Walter Raleigh), 15th century almshouses and famous schools is well worth a visit as are Bath or the Dorset coast if you wish to stray a little further. Rates are from £25 per person per night with reductions for children - payment by cash or cheque (with guarantee card) please.
