| Lombard House Hotel in Penzance was built in the early 18th century. It is a Grade II listed building with many period features. Located on a quiet south facing terrace overlooking the sea and the promenade. Private guests car park. Tom and Rita have owned and managed Lombard House since 1995. Their aim is to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a very high standard of service and comfort. They are resident at all times. A lovely front garden is available for guests to sit in and relax with a good book or perhaps a glass of wine, whilst enjoying the wonderful views across Mounts Bay. A perfect location for a long or short break. An elegant regency period house offering quality bed and breakfast where you can experience the unique and homely surroundings not found at other Hotels. Lombard House is conveniently located for the town centre, pubs & restaurants and many local attractions. The train and bus station is only a few minutes away and the Scillonian 3 ferry terminal and the Heliport for the Scilly Isles are also nearby. |

| Lounge/Dining Room Breakfast is served in our spacious dining room / lounge. A Full English Breakfast or lighter alternative Continental Breakfast is also served to those who do not wish to have a cooked breakfast. Special diets and early departures can be accommodated by prior arrangement. Tom and Rita have owned, and managed the Lombard since 1995. Our aim is to provide personal attention with a very high standard of service and comfort (we are resident at all times). It is only a short walk into the centre of Penzance, well served with plenty of shops, cinema, and the popular Acorn theatre. The ideal location for long and short stays, mid-week and one night bookings are also excepted. |

| Bedrooms All types of rooms are available including single, double, twin, triple, quadruple and family rooms; all rooms are en-suite, most with sea views. Each room is well presented with quality furnishing, colour TV, radio alarm clock, hair dryer and complementary tea / coffee making facilities. The hotel has full central heating and all rooms are serviced daily. Guest Lounge We have a cosy guest lounge on the first floor with magazines, books and games which is available to all residents. Penzance and Area Lombard House Hotel is better situated than many other hotels in the area being close to Penzance town centre, ferry terminal and railway station. It is an excellent base for all types of activities when exploring and touring the north and south coasts of west Cornwall, with miles of golden beaches and glittering sea. A wealth of history and antiquities, exotic gardens, inland and coastal walks, make this an area of outstanding natural beauty. With such a vast range of activities including horse riding, cycling, surfing and golf courses, there's something for everyone to make your visit to West Cornwall something special. Below are just a few of our favourite places: Visit the spectacular St Michael's Mount with its enchanting castle and medieval church, the busy fishing port of Newlyn, and Mousehole. An unspoilt idyllic fishing village, Lamorna Valley which is famous for its colony of artists back at the turn of the last century. The internationally famous open-air Minack Theatre at Porthcurno with its secluded sandy beach. There's also Lands End, a major tourist attraction with spectacular and stunning views of the dramatic rugged coastline. |
