| Welcome to Bed & Breakfast accommodation in our 16th century farmhouse, and Self Catering accommodation in our timber lodge in the woods. Lockhurst Hatch Farm comprises 25 acres of pasture and woodland in the sunny hills near Shere, Guildford and Dorking. We keep Portland sheep, assorted hens and a pony. The farm is situated down a quiet lane, on a bridleway, so has direct access to the forest and heath, making it ideally placed for activities such as walking, cycling and riding - yet only 8 miles from Guildford and 35 miles from London. We are close to RHS Wisley and the National Trust's Polesden Lacey, Clandon House and Hatchlands. |   |
  | Bed and Breakfast Our Bed & Breakfast accommodation is at one end of the house, fairly self-contained and comprising of one bedroom with ensuite bathroom and private sitting/dining room with its own staircase/hall. It is furnished with a mix of antique and contemporary. Lockhurst Hatch Farm is a listed, timber frame house, with the original portion dating back to the 16th Century. It has undergone major restoration over the last few years and is now a comfortable family home. All rooms have central heating. The bedroom with its shorter style four poster king-size bed is fully carpeted and has tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and radio. The room can accommodate an additional single bed if required. The sitting/dining room has a cosy wood-burning stove, another TV, also maps, guide books and routes for local walks. Wireless internet access available. Parking is opposite the house.   | Five Pines - Self Catering Five Pines is a self-catering timber lodge set in woodland on our farm near Shere, Guildford, in the Surrey Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The lodge has a kitchen, bathroom, sitting/dining room and bedroom, sleeping 2 in a double bed. The kitchen has an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave and fridge. In addition there is a freezer and washerdryer. There is a flatscreen television and CD/DVD player in the sitting room. The sofa can convert into a bed if required. Five Pines is equipped and furnished in contemporary style, with the emphasis on natural wood. A door leads from the kitchen onto a west facing veranda where a table and chairs is perfect for outdoor eating in the summer. In the case of extended stays there is a phone line that can be connected if required. Heating is by electric convection heaters and there is double glazing throughout. Parking is adjacent to the farmyard, from where there is an 80 metre walk up a track through woodland; the lodge is situated in a clearing. |   |
