| Dinner is available by prior arrangement. Sample an excellent home cooked dinner by candle light in our elegant dining room. We are not licensed but are happy for you to bring your own wine to enjoy with your dinner. Riding and walking are popular pastimes - there are more than 600 miles of public footpaths and bridleways here. The National Park provide good signposting and helpful publications - giving ideas on circular routes and nature trails. Fishing is very popular too, the Barle and the Exe are renowned for their salmon! There are three reservoirs, which offer trout fishing and sailing. Of course, Exmoor is famous for its wildlife, Red Deer, ponies, a wealth of birdlife and over a thousand types of wild plants. The National Trust have many historic properties in the area including, Dunster Castle, Arlington Court and Selworthy. The West Somerset Steam Railway which runs alongside the coast, a magnificent working Museum will transport you back in time. Where to Find Us Take the A358 (Minhead road) out of Taunton. After the turning to Bishops Lydeard take the B3224 (left turn) signposted to Wheddon Cross and Raleghs Cross. |
