| Lingmoor, just a 2 - 3 minutes walk from the train and coach station. Lingmoor is a traditional lakeland stone house with a slate roof built in 1854 by and for the local railway company that arrived in Windermere at that time. Windermere provides excellent bars, restaurants and local shops and a 20 minute walk will bring you to the lake where boats can be hired or a lake cruise taken, giving you time to relax and enjoy the outstanding scenery. Accommodation is available throughout the year with discounts offered for stays of three nights or longer. We aim to offer a quality, homely stay at an affordable price. |
| Accommodation Each of our 5 bedrooms are all tastefully furnished and decorated offering a pleasant and comfortable stay, the perfect base for your Lake District holiday. All rooms are provided with a colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. Hair dryers and ironing facilities are available on request. Rooms are available in twin, double and family with standard and en-suite facilities available ensuring we are able to cater for all your requirements. Single travellers are welcome. Relax and enjoy a full English breakfast in our dining room served everyday between 8.30 and 9.30am. |

| How To Find Us... By Car: Leave the M6 at J36 and take the A591 signposted through to Windermere, approximately 16 miles. As you enter Windermere you will see the Windermere Hotel on your right. Take the second turning on your left into Ellery Road and High Street is then the first turning on your left. Lingmoor is the third house on the right. By Bus/Train: Leave the station and turn left passing the tourist information centre on your left. Head down into Windermere, crossing the main road immediately and taking the right hand fork past the lakes hotel on your left. Lingmoor is 20 metres on the left. |
