| Leyonne Farm is situated on the outskirts of the popular waterside village of Golant on the river Fowey and about 2 miles from the picturesque harbour town of Fowey . Leyonne is a characterful period farmhouse, surrounded by our 250 acre Dairy Farm , with far reaching countryside views. We are ideally based for exploring the surrounding area. |


| OUT AND ABOUT Leyonne Farm is ideally situated for touring in Cornwall. Both the South and North coasts of the country are easily accessible for those wishing to walk, sail or surf. There are many local attractions including The Eden Project, Lanhydrock House, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the well filmed port of Charlestown. Visitors can make use of a footpath through the farm which joins the Saints Way and continues on into the small harbour town of Fowey, approx 1 ½ miles. Here they will find many excellent pubs and eating places, a good selection of shops and galleries, with river trips and boat hire from the town quay. (seasonal). The Saphne Du Maurier festival is held in the town during May and August there is an extremely popular local Regatta, with a street carnival display by the Red Arrows and spectacular firework display. Staying on a farm must include the animals and we have a herd of friesian milking cows and young stock. Some poultry and a few friendly sheep, all on hand for you to see. |
| Leyonne is a traditional Cornish stone built farmhouse, with a sheltered South facing walled garden. The farmhouse has recently been refurbished and all the rooms tastefully decorated to a high standard. We have three rooms available all of which have tea & coffee making equipment and colour televisions with DVD players. One twin one double and a family room with a double bed and a futon. |

| All rooms have en-suite facilities incorporating shower , toilet , wash hand basin ,electric shaver points, towels and plenty of hot water. We have a separate charming Guest lounge area with comfortable large sofas and a log burning stove, colour television and a selection of games, books and DVD`s, offering a peaceful cosy retreat after a busy day. A traditional farmhouse breakfast, cooked on the AGA and served in our delightful dining room will include a a selection of cereals, fruit juice, Charles Harris`s renowned local sausage and bacon, our own freshly laid eggs and home made bread, mushrooms, tomatoes and beans. We can accommodate visitors requiring continental style breakfast or special diets, including vegetarian and diabetic. | BY CAR FROM EXETER Travel West on A30 Turn left signed Bodmin . After 200yds turn left , signed Lostwithiel. Continue 800m at T junction turn left , continue to roundabout. Take the 1st exit signed Plymouth and Liskeard.( Cross over the top of A30) Take 2nd right signed Lostwithiel & Lanhydrock. Continue to next roundabout (small), turn left signed Lostwithiel drive for approx 4m , through Sweetshouse and on to a T junction (next to vets). Turn right on A390 towards St Austell , and then next right signed Fowey B3269. Drive for about 3m until you come to a small group of houses on a cross road called Castle Dore turn Left signed Golant. Leyonne Farm is First farm on the right ( about 250yds) FROM PLYMOUTH Travel West on A38 At Dobwalls turn left at Traffic Lights signed St Austell A390. Continue on this road ( approx 10m) after Lostwithiel turn left on the B3269 signed Fowey. Drive for 3m until you come to a group of houses on crossroads , called Castle Dore . Turn left signed Golant . Leyonne Farm is first farm on the right (about 250 yds). |
