Whether you are travelling to these parts for a short break or extended holiday we can provide you with a perfect base from which to tour, or, tranquil surroundings if you are coming to "chill out" for a few days. Our intention for you while staying with us and experiencing our hospitality is - to relax. You will find the ambience throughout lerags house stylish, informal yet professional but above all you will feel at home.

Dinner is an important part of any stay at lerags and our tariff is usually on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. Take a look at an example of Bella's menus. Bella is an accomplished cook and respected hostess. (food and drink) having worked in hospitality for all of her working life, she has built on top of a remarkable talent and flair for cooking, a great practical knowledge for organising events and seeing through every detail.

Dinner at Lerags House is highly recommended and is a three course "prix fix" menu that is changed daily. Bella brings a cosmopolitan flavour founded on Australian flair which is combined with the best produce from Scotlands' natural larder. Stylish surroundings and attention to detail result in a dining experience to savour.

Bella and Charlie make an effort to seek out the most local, the most wholesome and simply best produce.
To name a few...

D. Watt & son, Oban - fish monger on the Railway Pier in Oban, been there for a hundred years....really.

Barbreck lamb and beef, coastal farm at Ardfern just 30 minutes south of us.

Fyne Ales, Arrochar, Argyll - a new brewery with three gorgeous ales...of which we stock two..."maverick" and "pipers gold"

New...Solwath Ales, wonderful micro brewery in Castle Douglas..try the "knochendock" or "Galloway Black" (the scrummiest porter ever!)

Cheeses from all over Scotland, you will be amazed.

We often have available, local dived scallops, Loch Etive mussels not to mention game- in season- such as duck, pheasant, woodcock & snipe.

Murray Smoked food, Ford, Argyll - all our smoked Salmon

Loch Fyne Kippers, Yes, they are the best kipper.
