| Welcome Little Lampetts is a secluded period country house dating back 5-600 years listed as being of historic and architectural interest. The house stands in fourteen acres of its own land and is surrounded by open countryside. It is tucked away from traffic within totally private grounds and in easy reach of three mainline railway stations, the M25, M11, A12 and A414. It is also an easy journey to Brentwood, Ongar, Ingatestone and Chelmsford; Stansted Airport is approximately 30 minutes. Rooms The two bedrooms share a lovely bathroom and are tastefully furnished and have beautiful views. The sitting room has a log fire during winter and the house is centrally heated. Gardens The gardens are very sunny and colourful with a lily pond and natural pond, mature trees and flower beds, guests are welcome to sit in the garden. There is also an excellent network of footpaths beyond the boundary for those who like to enjoy the countryside. The property is due to be featured in Period living and Traditional Homes magazine later on this year. We sympathetically refurbished the house four years ago. Breakfast I can offer a full English breakfast or a light breakfast, freshly prepared. Evening meals by arrangement. The centre of Blackmore village voted best village in the South East is one mile, which has several pubs, which provide meals, and there are several good restaurants in the nearby towns. |     |
