Laburnum House Lodge Hotel combines regional charm with modern luxury. We are a converted farmhouse situated within the beautiful and majestic Somerset levels, between the seaside town of Burnham-On-Sea and the historic market town (and port) of Bridgwater. The famous Cheddar Gorge and market town of Wells is but a short distance inland from us.

There are more than 60 rooms arranged in either a twin, double or family layout, all with colour T.V, tea and coffee making facilities, en-suite bathrooms and parking spaces for 120 cars. Our standard rooms are £48.00 per night(without breakfast), while our superior rooms are £56.00 per night (without breakfast). Family, Executive and Bridal Suite rooms are also available.

Laburnum House is also an ideal venue for any corporate or "outward bound" event. With 40 acres of ground, it is very suitable for club events, outward bound activities, shows (from dog, flower to rural life exhibitions) and diverse sports (from rugby, football, archery to "tug-of-war"). It is situated only 1000 yards from the coast - much of which lying within the Bridgwater Bay Nature reserve in a beautiful region of Sedgemoor.

Laburnum House has 60 twin, double and family rooms, all with Freeview T.V, tea and coffee making facilities, en suite bathrooms & parking spaces for 120 cars.

Our Standard room rate (without breakfast) is £48.00 per night, while our Superior room rate (without breakfast) is £56.00 per night. Family rooms are also available, at between £70-£80.00(without breakfast). Executive and Bridal Suites are also available at £94.00 per night (without breakfast).

For breakfast- as much as you can eat-add £7.50 per adult and £3.00 per child (under 10).

Dinner, bed and breakfast package is £42.00 per person.

Directions and Contact information

Directions from M5:
Exit the motorway at Junction 22, then take the A38 towards Bridgwater. Drive through Highbridge to the "Crossways" public house and turn right into Church Road. Continue on for approx. 80 yards and turn left into Sloway Lane; Laburnum House is at the end of Sloway Lane.

Directions from A303:
Exit the A303 at the Ilminster roundabout and take the A358 to Taunton. At the Blackbrook roundabout joint the M5 motorway heading North towards Bristol. Continue on to Junction 23 and take the A38 towards Highbridge. At the "Crossways" public House turn left into Church Road and follow route as above.
