Chef proprietor Mark Hartstone and his wife Emmanuelle are providing quality accommodation as well as delicious home cooked dinners, with friendly and efficient service, in comfortable idyllic rural surroundings.

Relax in comfortable armchairs in front of the log fire, have a glass of wine from our bar or enjoy our tranquil patio garden.

The perfect base for exploring Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire, as we are located in Cranborne village centre, on the boundary of these historic counties. The village is set in the heart of Cranborne Chase on the edge of the New Forest, a short drive to the beautiful Jurassic coast and sandy beaches of Bournemouth.

The restaurant at La Fosse is open to the public on certain days (see website) and provides dinner every night to the resident guests on request (subject to availability)
If you are a party of 8-25 guests and have a particular date in mind that is not on our normal restaurant opening times (lunch and dinner) then please speak to us, as we are happy to cater for parties outside our regular opening times.
