| QUALITY, TRADITION & INTEREST. The Best Western King's Hotel, originally a Victorian gentleman's residence, has been elegantly refurbished. The Hotel is situated in the ancient 12th century market town of Grantham. Sir Isaac Newton, whose imposing bronze statue is situated on the green at St Peters Hill, was the most famous pupil at The King's Grammer School and Britain's first woman Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher was born in the town. The parish church of St Wulframs with its soaring spire of 90m dominates the centre of Grantham.  'the warmest welcome awaits you' A complete history of the town is documented in the museum, situated in the town centre, with a number of permanent displays. There are a number of old and interesting buildings to see in and around Grantham, including Grantham House, The King's Grammer School, The Guildhall, Belton House and Belvoir Castle. Grantham has many shops and two main indoor shopping centres. A large Saturday Market is held weekly in the centre and garden centre. The hotel has arrangements with nearby golf courses offering special packages. We are ideally situated for travelling to Leicester, Lincoln, Melton Mowbray, Nottingham and Stamford. |

All other meals abailable, all day, from 12 noon to 9.30pm.
